The project
In the heart of Trieste, an ambitious urban redevelopment project will bring back to life the “Ex Silos”, the Hapsburg building complex and ex-granary of notable historical importance to the city.
Silos Shopping Center, a new generation multi-functional center, will emerge in this site. Covering 45,000 m2, it will house a supermarket, 4-star Hotel of 140 rooms, beauty centers, restaurants, coffee shops, offices, stores, services, fitness centers and a 1,300 seat gathering space for meetings, concerts and theatrical shows. Visitors will be offered a parking lot of nearly 2,000 parking spots.
The build-up revolves around two real estate spaces of 27 meters wide and 250 meters long, spread on three floors, characterized by architectural elements such as arch facades, vaults and wooden shingles.
